Shinri Karate is run by Gareth Richards and his team of coaches.
Gareth first started training in karate when he was 8 years old and has been training ever since.
During his teens and 20s he was competitive at a national and international level and has numerous national titles and appearances in world championship events.
As well as teaching karate he also enjoys training in other forms and styles of martial arts. He holds the rank of 5th Dan in karate and has trained with many legends of the art.
Today he concentrates on teaching and coaching students of all ages and abilities and is very happy to have recently welcomed his own children into the dojo as beginners.
